Venue: University of Rijeka — Trsat Campus (Građevinski Fakultet)

H-ALP26 will take place at the Faculty of Civil Engineering (Građevinski Fakultet) of the University of Rijeka, located on the modern Trsat Campus, overlooking the city and the Adriatic Sea.

Rijeka Airport (RJK) – Closest airport (25 km from Rijeka)

Located on Krk Island, Rijeka Airport has seasonal direct European flights.

How to reach Rijeka from RJK:

  • Airport Shuttle Bus
    • Operates between Rijeka Airport → Rijeka city center (Jelačić Square)
    • Schedules vary monthly; published on the airport website.
    • Approx. travel time: ~35 minutes

Zagreb Airport (ZAG) – Best for year-round international connections

Distance to Rijeka: ~165 km

    • Frequent buses from Zagreb Airport → Zagreb Bus Station → Rijeka

Accommodation

Conference Hotel Reservation – Hotel Continental(3★) 

 

Participants are eligible for special conference room rates at Hotel Continental (3★). Accommodation may be booked via direct reservations using a dedicated booking code for the period 2–5 September (reservations do not need to cover the full stay).

Accommodation rates:

  • Single room: €96.00 + local tourist tax
  • Double room: €121.00 + local tourist tax

Payment conditions

Payment can be made at the hotel reception.
Reservations must be guaranteed by credit card, or participants may provide invoicing details and pay in advance via a pro forma invoice.

Cancellation policy

Accommodation costs and any cancellation fees are the responsibility of the guest.
The following cancellation conditions apply:

  • Up to 45 days before arrival: no cancellation fee
  • 30–44 days before arrival: 30% of the total amount charged
  • 15–29 days before arrival: 75% of the total amount charged
  • 14 days or less before arrival: 100% of the total amount charged
